4 BC Ferries sailings between Horseshoe Bay & Nanaimo were cancelled due to a mechanical difficulty with the Queen of Oak Bay's backup power supply. The 6:30 a.m. & 11:25 a.m. sailings from Horseshoe Bay & 9:05 a.m. & 1:40 p.m. sailings from Nanaimo's Departure Bay were affected. Other sailings on this route are expected to proceed as scheduled & an alternate route from Tsawwassen to Duke Point is being suggested.
