28-year-old Zachary Gause, a Scranton resident, accidentally drowned in a pond behind Little Fishery Truck Stop on Highway 378 in Florence County. His body was recovered after several hours of search. The investigation is led by the coroner's office and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, with an autopsy scheduled at the Medical University of South Carolina on Friday.
