76-year-old American singer-songwriter Dave Loggins, known for 1974 hit "Please Come to Boston," passed away on July 10 in Nashville, Tennessee. He won Vocal Duo of the Year at the CMA Awards in 1984 for his duet with Anne Murray, was a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee (1995), and was a second cousin to Kenny Loggins. Cause of death was not disclosed.
