Strathcona County received $690,000 from Canada's Active Transportation Fund to build a multi-use trail connected to the new pedestrian bridge across the North Saskatchewan River. The bridge and trail will improve community access and create a safe, convenient pathway, according to Mayor Rod Frank. The project involves regional cooperation with the City of Edmonton and the River Valley Alliance.
