Former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena joins Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca as their new head coach, citing their interest and attractive offer as reasons for accepting the position. This is Mokwena's first job outside of South Africa, and he becomes the second South African coach to join a North African club. Wydad Casablanca, three-time CAF Champions League winners, confirmed the signing of Mokwena, who has signed a two-year contract.
