Police arrested a Durban North couple and recovered R1.2m in stolen car parts after acting on information regarding suspected stolen property and possible counterfeit goods at their home. The South African Police Service's Ethekwini Economic Infrastructure Task Team executed a search warrant, finding the car parts stored in a safe and a storeroom. The couple failed to provide reasonable explanations or documentation for the items.
