The Oakland Athletics have placed catcher/first baseman Tyler Soderstrom on the 10-day injured list due to a left wrist bone bruise. In his place, they've recalled first baseman/outfielder Seth Brown, who has been performing well with Triple-A Las Vegas, hitting seven home runs in 16 games. Brown's recent improvement may make him a potential trade candidate if he maintains his good form.
