A blue-coloured, non-native pheasant has escaped from Swansea's Plantasia Tropical Zoo, located at Parc Tawe Retail Park. The zoo, which has been open since 1990 and houses 40 species of animals, has urged locals to keep an eye out for the bird but not to approach it, as it may be shy and scared. An internal investigation is underway to prevent such incidents in the future.
