Kumasi Sanitation Awareness Association in Ashanti Region raises public toilet fees by 25% due to increased costs of goods, services, maintenance, electricity, and water bills. Previously, toilet roll facilities charged GHS 1.50, now GHS 2, while toilet paper facilities increased from GHS 1.30 to GHS 1.50. The chairman, Mr. Owusu Takyi, emphasized the increase was necessary to continue operations and provide better services.
