A person was hit by a train between Ayrshire and Glasgow on July 12th, causing service disruptions on Ayr, Largs, and Ardrossan routes. ScotRail suspended services north of Kilwinning, providing replacement buses and a ticket acceptance scheme with McGill's and Stagecoach. Services resumed at 2.15pm, but trains did not call at Milliken Park temporarily. Passengers were advised to use alternative routes.
