18 friends from Pontypridd, UK, were left stranded without accommodation in Benidorm after discovering their rooms hadn't been booked through travel firm loveholidays. The group had travelled to celebrate a 50th birthday but were informed they would need to find alternative lodgings. According to group member Karin Collins, they were assured by the travel company that they would be reimbursed if they found another place to stay.
