200 crocodiles have entered urban areas in northern Mexico's Tamaulipas state due to heavy rains linked to Hurricane Beryl and earlier Tropical Storm Alberto. The rains raised water levels in coastal lagoons, causing the crocodiles to move into cities like Tampico and nearby Ciudad Madero and Altamira. Authorities have so far captured and relocated around 200 of these reptiles.
