1 a.m. on Friday, a pedestrian died after being struck by a northbound vehicle while attempting to cross Bardstown Road in Fern Creek, Louisville. The incident took place in the 7700 block, near the Gene Snyder Freeway, and the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk. The driver stopped and remained at the scene until police arrived. The Louisville Metro Police Department's Traffic Unit is investigating the incident.
