Former MLB player, Olympic gold medalist, and Little League World Series winner Sean Burroughs died from an accidental fentanyl intoxication at age 43. Burroughs collapsed during his son's Little League game in Long Beach, California, on May 9. He was a pitcher on the 1992 and 1993 Little League World Series-winning teams and was selected as the 9th overall pick in the 1998 MLB draft by the San Diego Padres.
