A serious two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ngunguru and Maruata Rds in Glenbervie, Whangarei District, Northland led to the temporary closure of the area and resulted in one critical, one moderate, and other minor injuries. Ngunguru Rd was blocked and motorists were advised to expect delays or take alternate routes. The road has since been cleared and reopened.
