Taoiseach Simon Harris has said that a "reset" in UK-Ireland relations means a victim-centred approach to legacy issues in Northern Ireland. The Irish government recently mounted a legal case against UK's legacy laws offering immunity to Troubles crime perpetrators, which the new UK Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, has vowed to repeal. Harris and Starmer both view this as an opportunity to "reset" relations between the UK and Ireland.
