1st woman Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, Justice Aalia Neelum, appointed by President Asif Ali Zardari.

Justice Aalia Neelum made history as the first woman Chief Justice of Lahore High Court in Pakistan, following unanimous approval from the Judicial Commission of Pakistan. The appointment was officially notified by President Asif Ali Zardari. Neelum's oath-taking ceremony took place at the Governor House in Lahore, with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Punjab Governor Saleem Haider Khan in attendance.
