Sarah James, former Initiative MD, becomes EssenceMediacom's CIO with 15+ yrs media industry experience, working alongside GroupM's CIO to manage a $1bn client portfolio.

Former Initiative MD, Sarah James, has been appointed as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at EssenceMediacom. She brings over 15 years of experience in the media industry, having worked at Dentsu Aegis Network's Woolworths agency, Carat Australia, and MediaCom's New York office. In her new role, James will collaborate with GroupM's CIO, Melissa Hey, to manage a client portfolio of nearly $1bn in media spend.
