Qatar Museums and Qatar Cinemas Co. sign MoU to transform Gulf Cinema Complex into a Cinematique museum.
Qatar Museums and Qatar Cinemas Co. signed a MoU to revitalize the historic Gulf Cinema Complex, first opened in 1972. The project aims to transform the complex into a state-of-the-art Cinematique museum, featuring studio spaces, a media/film library, a grand theatre, and food/beverage venues. The Doha Film Institute will provide expertise and programming, while Qatar Museums will manage the display of its film collections.
