NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace was fined $50,000 for hitting Alex Bowman's car into the wall during the cool-down lap after the NASCAR Cup Series race at Chicago Street Course. The incident occurred after Bowman's car tangled with Wallace's during Lap 25. NASCAR cited Wallace for violating Sections 4.4 B & D of its member code of conduct, and while Bowman won the race, he accepted blame for the earlier incident.
