Mexico's President-elect, Claudia Sheinbaum, plans to expand the country's passenger rail projects, including building three new passenger train lines from Mexico City to cities on the U.S. border. The new rail lines, which will be electric and run at speeds of up to 100 mph, are expected to create many jobs and double the amount of passenger rail lines built by current President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
