Louis Vuitton accused of stealing Vaideeni villagers' traditional blouse design in Romania.

Vaideeni villagers in Romania are upset with Louis Vuitton for allegedly stealing the design of their traditional blouses. Maria Gioanca, a 69-year-old seamstress, says she won't let the costume be used for fancy beach wear. Activist group La Blouse Roumaine has been calling on brands since 2017 to credit the origins when their clothes resemble or are inspired by Romanian folk costumes.
