3 dead, 3 injured in wrong-way crash in Platte County: A wrong-way driver in a Ford Edge struck a Honda Odyssey head-on, resulting in the deaths of three people and injuries to three others on Interstate 29 in Platte County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the Ford Edge was driving northbound in the southbound lanes when the collision occurred. The driver of the Ford Edge was taken into custody and is being treated at the hospital.
