Irish inflation fell to a three-year low of 2.2% in June, with a fifth consecutive monthly decline recorded this year. The latest consumer price index (CPI) showed prices on a monthly basis rose by 0.4%. The underlying rate of price growth, excluding volatile energy and food prices, remained elevated at 3.1%. Despite the lower inflation rate, energy costs internationally continued to decline.
