External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar discussed border stability and humanitarian assistance with Myanmar and Thailand foreign ministers in New Delhi. Jaishankar urged Myanmar's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister U Than Swe to release unlawfully detained Indians and raised concerns about cyber scams, drug trafficking, and arms trade along the Indo-Myanmar border. Jaishankar's meetings took place during the BIMSTEC Foreign Ministers' Retreat.
