India's Defence Minister Sanjay Seth launched the second edition of GRSE Accelerated Innovation Nurturing Scheme (GAINS-2024) in Kolkata. The scheme aims to encourage start-ups and private sector firms to develop innovative solutions in fields like AI, robotics, renewable energy, and efficiency enhancement for the ship design and shipbuilding industries. GAINS-2024 is aligned with India's Atmanirbhar Bharat, Make in India, and Start-Up India policies, promoting industrial growth and technological advancement.
