Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (HRIDC) is conducting a feasibility study for the Eastern Orbital Rail Corridor (EORC), a 135-km project that will parallel the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. The corridor will connect Palwal in Haryana to Sonipat passing through Ghaziabad, Noida, and Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Government has assigned the task of evaluating the project's feasibility.
