Honeywell International Inc. has agreed to acquire Air Products' LNG process technology and equipment business for $1.81bn in an all-cash deal. This acquisition, expected to close by year-end, aims to expand Honeywell's energy transition capabilities and is aligned with its focus on high-return acquisitions. The deal will help Honeywell offer a comprehensive solution for natural gas pre-treatment and state-of-the-art liquefaction, using digital automation technologies unified under the Honeywell Forge and Experion platforms.
