Gerresheimer reports 1.7% revenue increase to €968.5m, with Plastics & Devices division growth and deals with weight loss drugs makers contributing to the company's performance.

Gerresheimer, a German pharma and cosmetic industry solutions provider, reported a 1.7% increase in revenues to €968.5m in the first half of 2024, with adjusted EBITDA at €188.2m. The company remains on track, with the Plastics & Devices division showing good revenue growth and a significantly improved margin. Destocking effects in the Primary Packaging Glass division were offset by the favorable product mix change in the Plastics & Devices division. The company's deals with weight loss drugs makers, such as Novo Nordisk's Wegovy, are expected to bring at least €350m ($379.19m) of annual revenue over the next three years.
