Black man sues luxury Detroit hotel for employment discrimination after claiming he only received a job interview after changing his name on his resume. Dwight Jackson alleges he was denied a job at the Shinola Hotel when applying with his real name, but was later offered an interview after changing his name to a "Caucasian" sounding name. Jackson filed the lawsuit under the Michigan Elliott Larsen Civil Rights Act.
