In Birmingham, HS2's Curzon 2 viaduct, nicknamed "Bellingham Bridge" after England footballer Jude Bellingham, has completed its four 16-metre-high piers. The tallest structure in the one-mile viaduct stretch, it will carry high-speed trains over the existing Victorian brick rail viaduct. A 25-metre-high curved truss will feature a light installation to create a new city skyline icon.
