BC's Human Rights Tribunal dismissed a male teacher's claim of sex-based discrimination regarding handling sexual content in students' stories.

B.C. 's Human Rights Tribunal dismissed a case where a North Vancouver teacher claimed he was discriminated against on the basis of sex because he couldn't read a student's stories with sexual content while a female teacher could. The teacher, Shawn Stibbards, alleged that the school board investigated him for allegations of misconduct only because he is male and discriminated in the investigation process. The tribunal found his claims unsubstantiated.
