Archegos Capital Management founder Bill Hwang was convicted of criminal charges in relation to his firm's 2021 collapse, following a two-month trial that captivated Wall Street. The jury found Hwang and his co-defendant, former Archegos chief financial officer Patrick Halligan, guilty on several charges including securities fraud and market manipulation. The collapse of Hwang's hedge fund cost global investment banks billions of dollars.
