Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu discussed a proposed investment of ₹60,000-70,000 crore by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to establish an oil refinery and petrochemical complex in the state. Naidu requested a detailed plan and feasibility report within 90 days and committed to providing necessary land. The state government also invited Vietnamese automobile conglomerate VinFast to set up an electric vehicle and battery manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh.
