Grey's Anatomy star Kevin McKidd joins BBC's The Primrose Railway Children, a contemporary adaptation of Edith Nesbit's classic, playing Rob Robinson.

Grey's Anatomy star Kevin McKidd has landed a major role in a new BBC family drama, The Primrose Railway Children. The adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson's novel, which is a contemporary take on Edith Nesbit's classic, The Railway Children, sees McKidd play the father, Rob Robinson. The 90-minute CBBC special will be filmed in Glasgow, the Scottish Highlands, and heritage railways.
