Former Mississippi deputy and another man charged with statutory rape of a 13-year-old girl; information came from a Facebook video posted by Yazoo County Sheriff Jeremy McCoy. On July 5th, deputies were called about a 13-year-old girl in a vehicle with a 20-year-old man. Both men, 20-year-old Jontavis Lane and former auxiliary deputy Jerquarius Carter, 24, were arrested and charged with statutory rape. The investigation is ongoing.
