Wood secures six-year contract to provide services for Shell's Prelude FLNG facility in Western Australia.
Wood, a UK-based engineering firm, has secured a six-year contract to provide engineering, procurement, and management solutions for Shell's Prelude floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility in Western Australia. This project builds on Wood's 70-year global relationship with Shell. The Prelude FLNG, the world's largest floating offshore gas facility, is expected to remain in operation for 20 to 25 years, producing 3.6 million tonnes of liquids per year.
