Telstra breached its carrier licence over 163,000 times, publishing unlisted phone numbers of 140,000+ customers in the White Pages and directory assistance database. The Australian Communications and Media Authority found that more than 24,000 silent numbers were published with customer details in both directories. The incidents occurred mainly between 2021 and 2022.
