Remittances from overseas Pakistanis reached a record $30.3bn in FY24, marking a 10.7% increase compared to the previous year. The rise in remittances is primarily attributed to the use of legal channels for fund transfers and a stable currency. In June 2024, remittances increased by 44.4% year-on-year to $3.2bn, with the majority of funds coming from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the UK, and the US.
