Nigerian Railway Corporation plans to resume cattle transport in 1-2 months via the Warri-Itakpe route.
The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) plans to resume cattle transport from northern to southern Nigeria within one to two months, according to its Managing Director, Fidet Okhiria. The transportation of cows and goods will recommence via the Warri-Itakpe route, which was previously halted due to technical issues. NRC has acquired specialized wagons for transporting livestock and aims to modernize transportation in Nigeria.
