Maryland Zoo's baby chimp born to Rozi requires around-the-clock care after health decline.

Maryland Zoo welcomes a new baby chimp born to mother Rozi last month. The public will be able to help name the female infant, who is joining three other juvenile chimps in the zoo. Initially, the baby and her mother did well, but the infant's health declined within a few weeks, prompting the zoo's care staff to intervene. The baby chimp is now under around-the-clock care and receiving supplemental nutrition as she recovers.
