Manchester United reports Q3 net loss of £71.4m, sales down 19.6%, plans job cuts and ticket price increase.

Manchester United reported a Q3 net loss of £71.4m, widening from £5.6m in the prior year. Sales plunged 19.6% to £136.7m, and the operating loss expanded to £66.2m. The club plans to cut about 250 jobs and raise ticket prices by 5% for the upcoming season. Q3 matchday revenue dropped 40.7%, and broadcasting revenue dipped 26%. Manchester United now expects annual revenue of around £660m and adjusted core profit of about £140m.
