100 life-size Indian elephant sculptures, created by a community of 200 artisans in southern India, form a traveling art exhibit called The Great Elephant Migration. The exhibit aims to raise awareness for conservation efforts and has been shown in London and India before its U.S. tour. The herd will be displayed in Newport, RI, New York City, Miami, the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana, and Los Angeles before the organizers plan to sell the sculptures to raise funds for 22 conservation organizations.
