KVIC records Rs 1.55 lakh crore sales in FY 2023-24, up 15.7%, creating 10.17 lakh new rural jobs.
Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) achieved record sales of Rs 1.55 lakh crore in the financial year 2023-24, a 15.7% increase. This resulted in the creation of 10.17 lakh new jobs in rural areas and a 5-fold jump in sales from Rs 31,154.2 crore in 2013-14 to Rs 1,55,673.12 crore in 2023-24. KVIC's sales growth, production, and employment generation have significantly increased compared to the financial year 2013-14.
