Ghana's minority caucus in parliament boycotted the vetting of Herbert Krapah, the energy ministry's Minister of State nominee. The minority claimed Krapah's nomination wasn't published in a national newspaper, denying public input. They also questioned the need for another minister when a substantive one is already in place. The minority vowed not to participate in vetting processes that exclude public participation and maintain a large government size.
