Big 12 Commissioner Yormark states the conference is among top three in college sports, expanding to 16 teams and remaining competitive after Oklahoma and Texas depart.
Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark believes the conference has solidified itself as one of the nation's top three conferences in a period of drastic change in college athletics. Expanding to a 16-team league with the addition of the Four Corners schools from the Pac 12 (Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah), the conference is more relevant than ever, according to Yormark. Despite the departure of Oklahoma and Texas to the Southeastern Conference, the Big 12 remains a competitive force in college football.
