44-year-old former Welsh international player Craig Bellamy has been appointed as the new head coach of the Wales national football team, signing a contract until 2028. Bellamy, who has 78 international caps for Wales, succeeds Rob Page, who was dismissed after Wales failed to qualify for Euro 2024. Bellamy's first games in charge will be against Turkey and Montenegro in September as part of the Nations League.
