Victoria Police and the Australian Tax Office have seized over $6 million worth of illicit tobacco, $170,000 in cash, and 11 firearms in raids on properties linked to an organised crime syndicate involved in the illicit tobacco trade. The joint operation executed 10 search warrants on properties across Victoria, discovering 3.3 tonnes of illicit tobacco, more than $170,000 cash, and 11 firearms.
