US DoJ seized a $63m LA mansion linked to Armenian corruption, alleging it was purchased with bribe funds from 2011.

The US Department of Justice seized a $63m mansion in Los Angeles, linked to an Armenian corruption scandal involving the family of former minister of finance, Gagik Khachatryan. The US alleges that the funds used to purchase the mansion in 2011 were bribe payments, not loans. The mansion will be sold by the US government, with 85% of the proceeds retained by the US and the remainder given to Khachatryan's sons and their corporation.
