Telstra increases mobile plan prices for postpaid and pre-paid customers in August and October respectively.

Telstra, Australia's largest telecom provider, is increasing mobile plan prices for both postpaid and pre-paid customers, despite having previously stated it would not raise prices in July. Plans will see a $2-$4 monthly increase, with the basic postpaid plan rising to $65/month (from $62) and the premium plan increasing to $99/month (from $95). These changes will affect postpaid customers from August 27 and pre-paid customers from October 22.
